Then you can expand from there: learn how to sell your services, drive traffic, build an email list and sell digital products. All of that you can add in time, built upon a small starter site. The Five Phases
Building your online business in phases allows you time to learn what your audience wants from you, grow your skills and knowledge and expand accordingly with time. Your website will constantly change and evolve, taking it step by step means you don’t invest a ton by hiring a designer for a big website in the beginning, only to have to change your site up again in six months.
In the first phase, build your first three pages and get your website launched. These are: Home, About and Contact. You can always add more but these are the essentials.
Add your service offerings and begin making the first revenue in your business. Take the skills you already possess and package them up as productized services.
With SEO and content marketing, you can now begin creating value-rich content that will help your website show up in search results and bring traffic to your site.
Guide your new visitors to join your email list. With attractive lead magnets and an email marketing plan, begin connecting with your audience and nurture them regularly.
After you’ve done all of this, you can now create your first digital product. Whether it is an online course, download or on-demand workshop, now you can leverage your time.

What is the design process like?
The Website In A Day is fun process for both myself and you, the client. I will help you prepare for it days before our Design Day so we are ready to implement everything when the day arrives. We begin at 9 am on Design Day and launch by 5 pm!
Step 1:
Share Your Vision With Me (via a form)
We start off the process with you filling out this brief inquiry form and sharing with me all about your project.
Step 2:
Time to Meet Via Zoom
We jump on a complimentary call for you to clarify any questions and for me to understand we are on the same page. We also talk about dates and timeline. Then, I send you a detail via email so you can hire me and reserver your dates in my design calendar. Then, you will get "homework" to complete and submit to me before the first date of the project. It’s all laid out in the Welcome PDF and the Design Lounge (password protected Client Lounge on my website).
Step 3:
Gather photos and text & send them to me via Google Folder
Next, you will pull together all your notes and inspiration for your new website. I will send you questions to guide this process where you send me your favorite links, the main function of your site, features you want in your site and why, and what is your dream list for your site which is not necessary but would be a big bonus. You will submit the final copy for each of the pages and a folder of copyright-free or licensed images for your site. You will submit all of these in a shared Google Drive Folder or type it up in a document and have it in my inbox three days before the start date. We will schedule our project so that you have at least 2 full weeks for you to start the prep. You will have detailed guidelines so all of this is manageable and I will answer any questions along the way.
Step 4:
I build your website, you review and we launch by the end of the day.
By sending me all the content three days before our start dates, I will have a few days to review everything and send you back instructions or clarifications. Then our project begins at 9 am on the Design day with a video call where we review our project goals and design direction. You will have a chance to ask questions and clarify my questions. We refine and clarify the design and style and look at example websites together.
I go build the site and then we meet at 12noon to show you the results. You will see the color scheme, content layout as well as site structure. You send me back your review and any tweaks. Then, I go ahead and make the tweaks and implement the final version. I also take care of all the backend work, SEO and domain connection. We then meet at our scheduled video call around 4 pm for a pre-launch website training so you can make updates and start using your site. We will also set your website LIVE during our video call.
